Which course do I need to take to become a real estate agent?
The Salespersons Pre-Licensing class is where your career as a real estate agent will begin.
The Whole Process: One must complete the Pre-Licensing Course and pass the Pre-Licensing examination with a grade of 75% or higher. Students have only 2 opportunities to take the Pre-Licensing Examination to obtain a passing grade before the course must be retaken. Once students have successfully passed the proctored exam, their information will be entered into the Georgia Real Estate Commission, who will then provide that information to Applied Measurement Professionals. This usually takes up to 1 business day. A student will then receive an email from AMP (goAMP.com) with instructions to create a username and login and can then schedule a time for the Georgia Salespersons Examination at an AMP testing center. In order to obtain a license, students need to pass this examination, have lawful Georgia residence, and provide a criminal background check no more than 60 days old.
How and where can I take the proctored Pre-Licensing Examination if I took the class online?
If you took a Pre-Licensing or Post-Licensing course through The Georgia School of Real Estate, you will need to come into our classroom located on Wilmington Island, just outside Savannah to take your test. Proctored testing is not offered or available anywhere online. Please call us to schedule a date for your Pre-License or Post-License exam. We offer start times at 9am or 1pm. Only after completing this exam are students seeking a Georgia Salespersons License eligible to sit for the state exam.
What do I need to bring for my examination?
Please bring a 5-function calculator and a pencil. Please leave your cell phone in your car. We have secure locked locations to leave your wallet and keys until the exam has been turned in.

The deadline for my online course is approaching, can I get an extension?
We understand that events can arise in the duration of your online material and are happy to accommodate. We offer 60-day extensions for $50, and a student can do this up to 3 times. Extensions can be purchased over the phone 912-335-5849.
When I complete the online course material, will I have access to the lessons to review?
Once you complete your course, your access to the material automatically renews for an additional 90 days. We encourage you to review and study so that you are adequately prepared for your examination.
